Philthy Audio

I'm a genuinely positive person with a love for audio. I'd say It's my passion but everyone say that, I don't think most people realise the true meaning! Music and audio has been my life since about 15 when my music teacher introduced me to Logic for the first time. I went on to do Music technology at A-level where I was taught by Adam Brown who really inspired me and made me realise that not only did I have a love for audio, but a skill in it. 

 

I then went on to join the School Of Sound Recording, Manchester to study a Bsc in Sound Engineering and Design where I extended my passion and fulfilled my thirst to excell in audio. The degree is a stepping-stone, but the constant access to studios and equipment has been the biggest learning experience for me, using the studios at every possible oppurtunity for projects and to improve my skills. 

 

My most recent love is in mastering, Martin Desai is my most recent influence and it has inspired me to practice audio mastering and to look further into the techniques and broaden my skills as far as possible. I am still creating music, DJ-ing, collaborating with recording projects and am set to assist again at the Stroud Fringe Festival in 2014.
